01The Story

Every empire you admire started in a garage. Ours was a bedroom in Galle.

2009. I was a kid in Galle, Sri Lanka, with a blog nobody read. And I mean nobody — I'd check the visitor counter every morning like it owed me money.

Zero. Again.

But something kept bugging me. Everyone claimed to know how attention works. Agencies, gurus, textbooks — all so confident. So why did all of it feel like guessing?

I decided I'd rather find out than take anyone's word for it. That decision cost me the next ten years. Best money I ever spent.

— Kesara, founder

02The Road

We didn't study marketing. We survived it.

2009First blog

Nobody owes you attention. Nobody.

Origin
2014Virtubil

Built the product. Turns out building is the easy half.

Scaled
2016Pineapple †

Died. Our money, gone. Lesson burned in for good: distribution beats everything.

Failed
2017Where

A vehicle-tracking platform hits 1,000 vehicles live — then a wall no code could fix. GPS trackers needed government import permits, and the minimum orders were brutal. You can do everything right and still lose, if someone else holds the gate.

Gated
2018BrandFactory

Started out as a normal agency. Then we caught ourselves doing what agencies do — learning on the client’s dime. It felt wrong. Because it was.

Ignition
2020The pivot

So we stopped renting audiences and built our own lab. The first asset we’d ever owned that no permit, no MOQ, no gatekeeper could touch. Brand after brand after brand.

Leverage

That † isn't a typo, by the way. We keep our failures on the books. Most expensive education we ever bought — and you're the one it was for. The whole story →

03The Tuition

We paid the tuition. You get the degree.

Here's the quiet scandal of this industry: most agencies learn on your money. Sound familiar?

Decks where there should've been dashboards.

Promises where there should've been receipts.

A “strategy” tested on your budget for the very first time.

It wasn't your fault. You were sold theory. Theory fails. Execution scales.

Us? A decade. Two dead companies. Every failed experiment paid out of our own pocket — and yes, we kept the invoices. What's left is what survived.

04The Receipts

Our brands are the proof. Go check.

05The Lab

The lab bench.

A working index of the laboratory. Every property is a live experiment, and every experiment funds the next one. See the full Lab →

06The System

Ten years of experiments. Four things survived.

We only do four things. Not because we can't do more — because after 30 brands and 50 million people, only four things kept mattering. Click any pillar for the full playbook.

Here's how it actually goes

STEP 01Audit

We tear down your current digital presence and map every gap. Free, brutal, and in writing.

STEP 02Install

We build the four pillars in order — infrastructure first, ignition second. You watch it happen on a live dashboard.

STEP 03Compound

Weekly tuning, monthly reports — wins and failures. What works gets scaled. What doesn't gets killed.

First leads inside 60 days. Compounding from day 90. Targets agreed in week one — on the dashboard, not in fine print.

07The Machinery

Weapons we forged ourselves.

Nothing on the market survived contact with 30 brands at once. So we built our own — and gave them names.

WVLens™

The ideation engine. Managed lenses onto the world — platform-specified, value-specified, each with a unique ID. Idea seeds come out; engagement signals feed back in. It's why the machine never runs out of ideas that work.

ElemendeX™

The research engine. Investigation-grade sourcing behind every claim we publish — the reason our top archives outrank newsrooms.

The Evergreen System™

Content as a yielding asset. A scheduled re-monetization engine that keeps every story earning — instead of dying in 48 hours like everyone else's.

WVLens finds it → ElemendeX proves it → the Cycle publishes it → Evergreen keeps it earning. That chain is BrandFactory.
And we publish how it works: Open-Source Playbook № 001 →

08The Operators

We eat our own cooking. Daily.

The same 16 people who run our 30 brands will run yours. There's no junior team here — there's no junior anything.

The BrandFactory team — sixteen specialists
The BrandFactory squad — Galle & Colombo, Sri Lanka

Led by Kesara— yes, the kid from the 2009 blog. Behind him, a sixteen-strong squad who run 30+ properties every single day. No juniors learning on your budget. The people who grow our brands are the people who grow yours.

09Straight Answers

Ask us anything.

“You’re in Sri Lanka. My business is in the US.”

So is our audience. Tens of millions of American readers see our properties every month — we’ve spent years learning what makes American feeds move, with our own money on the line. You’re not hiring an offshore vendor. You’re hiring the lab that studies your market for a living. And yes — we overlap your business hours, and you get answers in writing.

How fast will I see results?

Paid channels, inside 60 days. Organic compounding kicks in from about day 90. We’ll show you both on a dashboard, not in a deck.

Who owns what you build?

You. Everything. From day one — domains, content, ad accounts, audiences, data. All yours, forever.

Am I locked in?

No. Month to month. We’d rather earn the renewal than write it into a contract.

Why not just show me case studies?

Because case studies are stories about the past. Our brands are dashboards about right now.

How much of my time does this take?

About 30 minutes a week: approve content, tell us what’s coming up in your business. We do the work; you watch the numbers.

You've read our story. Yours is at chapter one.

You're where we were. Working hard inside a comfort zone that's quietly getting smaller. Tired of paying to be somebody's experiment. Difference is, you don't have to spend ten years in the wilderness — we already drew the map.
