Why does an agency run its own media empire? Because it's the only honest way to sell what works.

Every tactic we deploy for a client is tested here first, on our own money and our own risk. The Shark Tank archive on Geeks Around Globe became the top resource of its kind on the web. Our Facebook communities passed a million members. Our channels crossed half a million subscribers. None of it was luck — it was the four-pillar system, run on ourselves, over and over.

When it works here, it becomes a blueprint. When it fails here, you never see it. That's the difference between an agency that reads case studies and one that writes them.

The findings

The reach isn't luck. It's a library.

We went back through every hit we've ever had — 1.9 million visits, 28.9 million people reached — and asked the same question each time: why did this one work? The answers became sixteen patterns our whole team now writes with. Three of them run everything.

01People click one thing and share another

You click what scares you. You share what lifts you.
Nobody sees what you read at midnight — but a share has your name on it. That's why grief tops our search charts and finishes dead last in shares, every single time. So we stopped fighting it: the sad stories go where people search, and the ones that restore your faith in people go to the feed.

THE LAW
02The two giants we almost missed

Our #2 and #3 stories ever — and our own playbook nearly skipped both.
A young woman whose life was stolen: 99,000 readers came to demand it mean something. A passenger who realized he'd flown the very plane that later went down: 90,000 people thinking that could have been me. The lesson we only learned by going back through our own numbers: a story doesn't have to be big to hit. It has to be close.

03The Bigness Formula

An impossible number, next to something from your kitchen.
A big number on its own bounces right off. Put it beside something ordinary and it lands: a snake “as wide as a car tire.” A room so quiet “you'll hear your own joints.” The number drops your jaw; the everyday thing makes it real. It's how one post about a 1925 sled dog reached 6.3 million people without a cent of ad spend.

If it didn't work for us first, you'll never see it.
